Mr. Clark was the most liked person at the studio. While he was doing the radio version, I was asked to run a couple of record to Mr. Clark in the radio studio. When I was able to go in to the radio room with the records, Mr. Clark asked me my name and what school I went to. When the record finished and he went back on radio, he turned to me with a live mike and again asked me my name and what school I went to. He asked me several other questions that I don't remember now but then thanked me for bring the records to him. All live on radio. After the next record started playing, he again thanked me for bring the record over. Now, Lee Steward, part of the Bob Horn and Lee Steward team on the live tv american band stand, was a true gentleman. He was not treated to well by Mr. Horn off camera but that's not for me to judge. donnoreply@blogger.com
